Welcome to Byland with Wass WI
We are a small but very active WI predominately serving the villages of Wass and Ampleforth, as well as other villages in North Yorkshire. We have been established for over 80 years and our numbers remain as strong as ever.
We are known for our varied and interesting programme of events, for the fun we have, for the charities we support but most of all for the welcome we extend to all and for the friendships that are fostered.
We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month in Wass Village Hall at 7.30pm.
Potential members are encouraged to "try before you buy" so come along and see if our vibrant WI is for you. A hot drink and biscuits are served at the close of every meeting and sometimes Prosecco on special occasions.
Byland with Wass WI also runs a successful Book Club and Walking Group.
For more information contact Nancy our President or Sue our Secretary who will both enjoy telling you about our group of inspiring women.
